We had a good day but very wet at times, we were happy and did a fair amount of trade taking £251. 25 in Souvenirs and £79.75 Donations, which was good as we were next to Help the Heroes double stall.
Grace had her photo taken by the Birmingham Mail photographer and we had man from Great Barr who wants to help collecting so a god day all around.Ttfn Chris

Preservation attempt for Ex Lowestoft Lifeboat

A group of volunteers are currently working on raising funds to return the former Lowestoft Thames Class lifeboat 50-001 from Ireland to Lowestoft.

The plan is for her to become a community resource where young engineers can learn about techniques used to build boats in the past and then for various uses to keep her as a working boat.

If anyone is interested in helping with the project or making a donation have a look at their web site
